adroit-services.comI help small businesses and startups work out which is which. I build websites, for money or for trade.
No form first. Pick a time, and we talk. All calls are recorded.
That is the call.
I'm Tommy Caruso. Twenty years in the Air Force. By day I lead engineering teams at a software company. At night I build things: this site, the two below, and a record-keeping project for houses called HomeBook. I'm a veteran, and I like helping veterans.
I'm not a consultancy and I'm not a hired set of hands. I sell and trade judgment. Building sites is how the judgment ships.

Thirty minutes. Free. I ask the same six questions every time, and you leave knowing what to build, what to buy off the shelf, and what to stop paying for. Some people leave with nothing to buy from me. That is a good call, not a wasted one. All calls are recorded.
I build static sites: fast, plain, and yours. The code lives in a repository you own. Hosting costs nothing or close to it. No subscription, no builder, no one standing between you and your own site.
$2,500 to $4,000
What you do, who it is for, how to reach you, and proof you are real. Most small businesses need this and nothing more.
$4,500 to $7,500
Services, work, about, contact. The shape a business takes when one page stops being enough.
Quoted after the call
If it fits. Apps are a side conversation. I will build one when the price, the customer, and the timeline are right, and I will tell you on the call if they are not.
Every build includes the domain set up, the site live on hosting you own, and an hour with me showing you how to change your own words.
Open to trades. Ask on the call.
Most of the advice happens on the call, and the call is free. Past that, I can sit with you while you pick a platform, read a quote someone handed you, or decide whether the thing you are about to buy is the thing you need. How that gets paid for is a conversation, not a menu.
Leads. Rankings. Traffic. A retainer. If someone promises you those with a website, ask them how.

My own book, built as a site rather than a PDF: a field manual for software engineers in six parts and appendices, with static search and footnotes. Mine, not a client’s.
